              Piston and connecting rod
              Overview

The piston rod changes the reciprocating motion of the piston to the rotary motion of the crankshaft, and
changes the force acting on the piston into the external output torque of the crankshaft to drive the rotation of
the car wheels. It is the engine's transmission, which sends the pressure of the combustion gas to the
crankshaft, which rotates the crankshaft and outputs power. Piston rod group is mainly composed of piston,
piston ring, piston pin, connecting rod and connecting rod bearing shell.
              Check and repair
              1. Dismount the engine assembly
              2. Disassemble the cylinder cover assembly

              3. Dismount the flywheel housing
              4. Disassemble the camshaft
              5. Dismount the oil sump

              6. Dismount the cylinder stiffener
              7. Disassemble the piston and connecting rod

                                                        a. Rotate the crankshaft until the piston is below the carbon
deposit on the stroke area of the piston ring. Use fine fiber
abrasive pads or equivalent and solvent to remove carbon
                                                        deposit.

                                                        b. Mark each piston according to the cylinder position.
                                                                                Caution

If the piston has an anodized coating, do not imprint the
anodized coating or the outer edge. Do not imprint the
aluminum piston crown over the piston pin axis.
