c. Rotate the crankshaft, so that the connecting rod cap is at
the bottom dead center for disassembly. Mark each

connecting rod and connecting rod cap according to the

cylinder number positions.

d. Disassemble the connecting rod bolts, remove the

connecting rod cap and the lower bearing of the connecting
rod. Mark the cylinder number and the letter "L" on the FR
plane of the bearing locating tongue.

e. Push the connecting rod and the piston assembly out of BW
the cylinder hole. Be careful not to damage the connecting
rod or bearing and remove the upper bearing of the
EL
connecting rod.

f. Mark the cylinder number and the letter "U" on the plane

of the bearing locating tongue.

g. If these parts are used continuously, the piston and
connecting rod assembly must be installed in the same
cylinder in disassembly to ensure that the worn joint
surfaces are properly matched. Use the label to mark the

cylinder number to which the piston and connecting rod

assembly belongs. Place the connecting rod and piston

assembly in the container to avoid damage.
