e. Install the piston ring on the piston with the piston ring
expander.

11. Install the piston rod assembly

a. Apply the assembly lubricant or equivalent to the inner
diameter of the bearing bushing. Apply a thin layer of clean
15W-40 oil to the cylinder wall.

b. Lubricate piston ring and piston skirt with clean oil.

c. Turn and adjust the opening position of the piston ring as
shown.
