12. Repair crankshaft IN

a. Clean the crankshaft and gear with steam or hot soapy
DI
water. Clean the oil hole with the non-metallic hard brush.
Dry with compressed air. Make sure to bleed through the
threaded holes in each end of the crankshaft and the oil EG
gallery.

b. Check whether the threads at both ends of the crankshaft
are damaged, if any, replace the crankshaft. FR

c. Check whether there is damage or excessive wear in the
journals of the main bearing and the connecting rod bearing. EL
Subtle scratches are acceptable.

d. Measure the main journal of the crankshaft and the
connecting rod journal, if the crankshaft journal does not
meet the given technical specifications, the crankshaft must
be ground again. When a journal does not meet the

specifications, it is necessary to grind all the journals.

Out-of-roundness: 0.050mm

Conical degree: 0.013mm
