i. Tighten the main bearing bolts in proper order.
Torque: DI
Previously installed main bearing bolts
Step 1: 60N•m
Step 2: 80N•m EG
Step 3: rotate in 90 °
Torque: TR

New main bearing bolts
Step 1: 120N•m AX
Step 2: release completely
Step 3: 60N•m FR
Step 4: 85N•m
Step 5: rotate in 120 ° ST

j. Measure crankshaft axial clearance with a dial gauge BR
assembly and magnetic pedestal.

k. Install the oil pump
l. Install the installation adapter ⑦ on the front of the
crankshaft. Install two M12×1.25×60mm hexagon socket
head bolts. Place a new front oil seal of crankshaft on
disassemble bolt ⑥ and front end of crankshaft, and slide
the oil seal assembly furthest toward the front gear chamber
by hand as far as it will go.

m. Assemble the crankshaft oil seal installation device ④ to
the disassemble bolt ⑥ and the front end of the crankshaft,
and then push the oil seal installation device toward the oil
seal until it evenly bears against the oil seal. Place the flat
washer ② and the hex nut ① on the disassemble bolt ⑥
and tighten it by hand.
