Fuel system
Fuel system
Overview
1. The fuel system consists of fuel tank, high pressure oil rail, diesel filter, high pressure oil pump, high
and low pressure fuel pipe and injector. The oil transfer pump sends the fuel oil in the fuel tank to the
fuel filter and then the fuel oil enters into the high pressure oil pump and produces high pressure in the
high pressure oil pump and is injected into the combustion chamber in vaporific shape from the
injector through the high pressure oil pipe for combustion. The excess fuel supplied by the injector and
the high pressure oil pump will flow back to fuel tank through oil return pipe. The check valve will be
installed on connecting bolt of oil return pipe of filter and high pressure oil pump to prevent fuel
backflow and air into the oil supply system when engine is not working and to ensure the stable
pressure of the fuel oil in the low pressure oil chamber of the high pressure oil pump.
2. The fuel system sprays the diesel into the combustion chamber according to the diesel working in
confirmed time, quantity and pressure to supply the necessary conditions to the good combustion of the
diesel; and it is necessary to automatically adjust the amount of fuel supply according to the load of
diesel engine to ensure the stable operation of the diesel engine.
