p. Properly polished cylinder hole surface is with an
reticulate pattern appearance, and the line forms an angle of
25°~30° with the top of the cylinder hole.
q. After polishing, it is necessary to clean the cylinder hole
with a concentrated solution of hot water and detergent.
Detergent
r. Clean the cylinder hole and dry the cylinder body with the
compressed air.
Caution
Clean the cylinder hole after polishing/finish grinding,
otherwise, the engine will be damaged.
s. Wipe the cylinder hole with a white, lint-free, lightly oiled
wipe. Check the cleanliness; if there is still particulate
residue, it is necessary to repeat the cleaning process until
all the residues have been removed. Clean the cylinder hole
with solvent. Dry the cylinder body with the compressed air.
t. If the cylinder will not be used immediately, it is
necessary to apply a rust inhibitor on all machined surfaces.
Make sure to cover the cylinder body to prevent dust and
debris from accumulating inside and outside the cylinder.
