r. Measure the overall flatness of the cylinder body
Cylinder body flatness
Front end to rear end: 0.076mm
From left to right: 0.051mm
s. Measure the inner diameter of the cylinder hole at six
positions forming the angle of 90 at the top, mid and bottom
of the piston stroke area with an internal diameter dial
gauge.
Caution
Do not measure the cylinder diameter within 50 mm to
the combustion area of the cylinder body. Otherwise, it
cannot be measured accurately.
Cylinder hole inner diameter
Minimum: 102.010mm
Maximum: 102.030mm
Out of roundness: 0.038mm
Conical degree: 0.076mm
4. Repair the damaged cylinder body
a. Before repairing the cylinder hole, the waterproof tape
must be used to cover oil hole and the tappet hole at the top
of the cylinder body.
b. Polishing enables the cylinder hole surface to achieve the
proper smoothness required for piston ring installation.
Polishing can only be carried out when the cylinder hole is
