EG - 120 Engine section – Engine (Cummins ISF3.8)

High pressure oil pump (common rail)
Change

1. Disassemble the high pressure oil pump assembly

a. Disconnect the pressure regulator connector.

b. Disconnect the oil pipe connector of the fuel filter and the
high pressure oil pump.
Caution

After disconnecting the oil pipe, seal the oil pipe and
pump joint.

c. Disconnect the connectors of the oil inlet pipe and the oil
return pipe of the high pressure oil pump.

d. Disassemble the fixing nuts of the high pressure oil outlet
pipe of the high pressure oil pump.
