b. Check gear for excessive wear, broken teeth and other

phenomena and, if damaged, replace the damaged gear.

c. Check of radial runout the 2nd shaft rear bearing.
Gap for reference: 0.1mm

d. Rotate the bearing, to check whether there is vibration
or abnormal sound, and if any, replace the bearing.

3. Assemble the 2nd shaft assembly
Caution
All installation parts need to be cleaned before EL
installation.

a. Install the 1st and 2nd gear synchronizer assembly and

install the circlip to fix.
Caution

• Follow the markings to install the synchronizer
assembly.

• The circlip must be replaced.

b. Install the 1st gear and needle bearing assembly.
