IN
i. Measure the preload of driving bevel gear.

• Secure the flange of driving bezel gear to a vise.

• Install the flange of driving bezel gear and flange nut,

and tighten to the specified torque.
• Measure the preload of driving bevel gear with a spring EG
tensioner.
• Remove the flange nut of driving bezel gear flange nut, TR
and take off the flange of driving bezel gear.

Caution
AX
If the resistance is too large, adjust the thickness of
the adjustment shims of the bevel gear bearing. If the
gap between the bearing housing and the bearing seat FR
is too large, also adjust the thickness of the
adjustment shims of the bevel gear bearing. ST

j. Apply a proper amount of grease on the oil seal lip of
driving gear. BR

k. Install the oil seal of driving gear with oil seal punch.

l. Install the flange of driving bezel gear.

m. Install O-ring and shims.

n. Install the flange of driving bezel gear. Use a vise to
secure the flange of driving bezel gear, tighten the flange
nut.
Torque:

Model 16 T 530~570N•m
Model 22T, 25T 500~600N•m
