Rear axle driving gear IN

Check and repair
1. Remove rear axle final Reducer assembly (See Chapter AX Axles, Transmission Shafts - Rear Axle / DI
Rear Shaft - Rear Axle - Rear Axle Final Reducer Assembly, Replacement)

2. Remove the rear axle driving gear assembly EG

a. Remove the fixing bolts of bezel gear bearing seat.

b. Remove the driving bezel gear assembly.

c. Remove the adjustment shims of driving bezel gear
bearing seat. AX
Caution
The number of adjustment shims shall be noted FR
during removal, and the same number shall be
used when installing. ST

3. Check the driving bezel gear assembly

a. Check the driving bevel gear for cracks, broken teeth and other abnormal phenomena, and if any, replace BW
the damaged parts.
4. Disassemble the driving bezel gear assembly EL

a. Use a vise to secure the flange of driving bezel gear.
b. Remove the cotter pin of driving bezel gear flange nut.

c. Remove the bevel gear flange nut and remove
the washer and O-ring.

d. Pull out the flange of driving bezel gear.

e. Remove the driving bevel gear assembly from the

driving bezel gear bearing seat.
