DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM 62-343

Symptom description：
Press the rear fog lamp switch, one side of the rear fog lamp is not on while the other side
is on.
△ PROMPT：
Take the left rear fog lamp as an example, check the right rear fog lamp with the same
method. 62

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the rear fog lamp bulb

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Check whether the connectors of the left and right rear fog lamp are loose or falling
off.
(c). Remove the bulbs of the left and right rear fog lamp.

(d). Connect the positive and negative
electrode of the bulb to the positive
and negative electrode of the battery
respectively to check if the bulb will light
up.

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace the bulb.

2. Check the harness disconnection

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the combination lamp connector N02 of the left rear bumper.
(c). Disconnect the body controller connector C56.
