DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM 62-339

Symptom description：
Turn the combination switch to "front fog lamp" gear, both sides of the front fog lamp are
bright.

Diagnosis Procedure
62
1. Check the short circuit to the power supply of the harness

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the left front fog lamp connector A34.
(c). Disconnect the right front combination lamp connector A05.
(d). Turn the combination switch to the "front fog lamp" gear.

(e). Ignition switch:"ON".Measure the
voltage between both No. 1 terminal of the
left front lamp connector A34 and No. 1
terminal of the right front lamp connector
A05 and the grounding with a multimeter.
Standard voltage: (check whether there is
a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A34(1) - Grounding 0V
A05(1) - Grounding 0V

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Repair the short circuit to the power supply of the harness between both A34 and A05
and the fog lamp relay.

2. Check harness short circuit to the grounding

(a). Disconnect the body controller connector C57.

(b). Measure the resistance between both the
OFF T.S Ω terminal of the connector C57 on the
body controller and the grounding with a
multimeter.

Standard resistance: (check whether there

Connect the pin by
