62-346 DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM

Symptom description：
After pressing the switches of the rear fog lamps, neither rear fog lamp at two sides turns
on.

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Open the fuse box cover of the engine chamber.
(c). Take out rear fog lamp fuse F6 (20A).
NOTICE:
A special fuse puller is required for removing the fuse. It shall not be directly pulled out by
hand, which will damage the fuse easily.

(d). Check if the middle fuse wire of rear fog
lamp fuse F6 (20A) is fusing.
Disconnect Normal

Check if the fuse is fusing.
Yes>Replace the fuse.
NOTICE:
While replacing the fuse, be sure to replace it with a fuse of the equal ampere rating value.
The high beam fuse value of this vehicle type is 20 A.
No ＞ To step 2.

2. Check rear fog lamp switch

(a). Disconnect combination switch connector C16.

(b). Press the rear fog lamp switch, use a
multimeter to measure that the continuity
between No. 7 terminal and No. 7 terminal
of rear fog lamp switch shall be existed.
