(i). Install the belt tensioner subassembly and
the belt tensioner subassembly fixing bolts
(arrow direction), and tigihten them with the
torque of 28±2 N•m.

(j). Install the shock-absorbing pulley unit (for the longitudinal engine).
(k). Install the shock-absorbing pulley unit (for the horizontal engine).

(l). Install the engine front mounting bracket
and engine front mounting bracket fixing
bolt (arrow direction), and tighten the bolt
with the torque of 40 N•m (for the horizontal
engine).

(k). Install the engine oil dipstick tube unit.

3. Remove the timing chain
(a). Remove the high-pressure oil pump bracket.
(b). Remove the vacuum pump.
(c). Remove the front cover.

(d). Remove the engine oil pump chain
tensioner.
•Disconnect the engine oil pump chain
tensioner spring (arrow direction).
