In conjunction with writing about human trafficking, Kingdom News Today wants to high-
light others who are bringing awareness to this epidemic!

Meet Allegra Green
Mother, Student, Author, Advocate

Allegra is an emerging new voice to the fight against human trafficking.
This young mother taken an interest in Human trafficking when hearing
about the case of 5 year old Shaniya Davis, North Carolina. She was sold to
a 32-year-old man as a sex slave by her own motor to pay off a drug debt.

Six days later her body was found. The date of November 16 , Allegra’s
birthday. That profoundly affected Allegra and thus started her on a jour-
ney of discovery in the dark and diseased world of human trafficking. In
2011, through her research, Allegra became awake to this fact: America is
not exempt to the disease of Human Trafficking. In this discovery, she was inspired to write a

book shining light on human trafficking. Title: “It Could Be You”, a 1 person perspective fiction
Journaling the everyday experience of a woman enslaved in the human trafficking. Her book is due
out Summer of 2019. In 2015, a Class project lead her to research more about human trafficking
in a more localized area. The State of Arkansas was graded C concerning Human Trafficking. Ar-
kansas had low enforcement policy to handle human trafficking cases. In 2018, Arkansas is now
has a grade B. Thank God for the improvement.

Allegra is an active partner with the Polaris Project and follows cases reported. Her desire is to
bring greater awareness to this blight of society with earnest expectation of seeing the end of hu-
man trafficking.
