Sparsely vegetated N.a N.a Ruderal / ephemeral The main area of this habitat type is located to the north of

development of the adjacent plot. Species associated with
this habitat type within the Site include common nettle
(Urtica dioica), broad-leaved dock (Rumex obtusifolius),
common cleavers (Galium aparine) and pineapple mayweed
(Matricaria discoidea).

Log piles
7.10 There are two log piles, comprising timber posts and logs. One located within the western section of the Site within an area of other neutral grassland
and one located adjacent to the northern boundary within an area of ruderal / ephemeral vegetation.
SURROUNDING HABITATS
7.11 The Site is bounded to the west by a mature tree belt. Beyond the western, eastern and southern boundaries lies open grassland, some of which is
grazed, orchards and scattered scrub with small patches of woodland and connecting tree lines and hedgerows. The north of the Site is bounded by a
new residential development, adjacent to the A2, High Street.
7.12 The village of Newington lies approximately 0.24km west of the Site.
