 11. The dove came to him toward evening, ëÓþ flÓ¼³¤Ñ¼Ðñ·íÖòBiÔíî−¥ÖñÑêê¶ÒëÖzÔî .ê−  9. Enosh lived ninety years í¢ÖòÖLó−¤Ì¼ÐLÌzLB£òÍê−'ÌìÐ−Ôî.¬
 and behold, in her mouth was a torn off olive leaf. Öí−¢ÌõÐa¹¤ÖþÖ¬³Ì−£Ôï-íÑñμí'ÑpÌíÐî  and he had a son, Keinan. :öÞÖò−Ñš-³ÓêðÓñB£iÔî
 Noach knew then that the water had subsided óÌ−£ÔnÔíel'Ôš-−ÌkÔìflÒò¼Ôð¤ÑiÔî  10. After he had Keinan, Enosh lived öflÖò−Ñš-³ÓêB¤ð−ÌñB Þí·−ÑþÎìÞÔêLB†òÍê−¤ÌìÐ−Ôî.−

 It is my opinion that it [the dove] was male.  ,íÖ−ÖíþÖ×ÖfÓL−ÌòÎêþÑôBê
 Therefore, it is sometimes referred to as male  þÖ×Öï öBLÐñó−ÌôÖ¼ÐõBêÐþBš öÑ×Öñ  14. All the days of Keinan were öflÖò−Ñš−¤ÑôÐ−-ñÖk·e−ÐíÞÌiÔî .ð−

 The Midrash Aggadah 159  explains it [¹ÖþÖ¬] as “food”  ,öBïÖô öBLÐñ:íÖðÖbÔêLÔþÐðÌôe  eight hundred and ninety-five years, í¢ÖòÖL³B£êÑôí'ÓòÒôÐLe íflÖòÖL·ó−̼ÐL̳ÐîL¥ÑôÖì
 and interprets Öí−ÌõÐa as “speaking.”  ,þÖôÎêÔô öBLÐñÖí−ÌõÐaeLÐþÖðÐî
 She said, “Better that my food be as bitter as an olive  ³Ì−ÔfÔkö−ÌþBþÐô−Ô³BòBïÐ ôe−ÐíÌ−:íÖþÐôÖê  and he died. ñ :³ ÞÒôÖiÔî

 152 Iyov 29, 21.  153 Rashi, unlike other Rishonim, takes ¹þ¬ to be a verb in the masculine form. The literal translation
