RESEARCH CAPABILITY




              The research department at Shadowhound is responsible for ensuring that we have
              an accurate measure of the pool of talent within any particular region, product class
              or specialisation.
              Through   innovative research    techniques   and   on-the-ground relationships,
              Shadowhound is able to provide accurate staffing analyses across areas such as FICC
              Sales, Structuring, Trading, Research and Syndication.
              This information takes the form of organisational charts of specific teams and a
              general pool of thousands of names categorised by role, location and employer.






















                                              METHODOLOGY
                               The search process is formed of three main stages


                    IDENTIFICATION
                    Within our core areas of expertise, our database contains detailed
                    information about most of the potential candidates who we would present to
                    our clients. Many of these candidates have already been met by our
                    consultants in the past and we are able to provide accurate and in-depth
                    commentary on their career histories.


                    SHORTLISTING
                    Where a candidate is unknown to us, Shadowhound researchers will first
                    gather open source information to provide an overview of the candidate’s
                    career history and to ensure that they have not been involved in any
                    regulatory issues. Our consultants will then contact them directly to learn
                    more about their background and client-focus.

                    INTERVIEWING
                    Once this process is complete, our consultants are able to work with the
                    hiring manager to identify a short-list of candidates. Each of the selected
                    candidates is interviewed by one of our consultants in person to confirm
                    their suitability for the specific role and their interest in engaging in a
                    dialogue.
