On the other hand, informal interview sessions were conducted among
the nine women to get an output on the project. The informal
interview is chosen based on its ability to unravel the participants'
personal views and opinions. It is also believed that informal interviews
posit more in-depth discussion, especially in ethnographic research, as
the setting is more natural (Swain & King, 2022). The results would
then be more diverse and provide valuable input for the research topic.

The field notes, informal interviews, and documentation were then
analysed through a triangulation method that aspires to integrate
findings based on the data collected. The field notes, and interview
notes were arranged and organised correctly to confirm and search for
themes. the coding. The data was then validated to ensure it was valid
            and accurate.

Field Notes, Ethical Considerations and Reflexivity
Field notes are essential to many sorts of research, mainly qualitative
research. Field memos are essentially the researcher's record of
observations made, experiences gained, and understandings gained
while conducting research in the field (Philippi & Lauderdale, 2018).
In this project, the researchers jot down their experiences and
observations throughout their engagement with the women during the
sewing class, workshop, and other social gatherings with the
participants. The field notes serve as a repository of researchers’ own
feeling and observation that offers the first-hand experience of the
            Jarum Emas participants.

The act of jotting down experiences in real-time allows the researchers
to capture the intricacies of the women's interactions, the dynamics of
the sewing classes, and the subtle yet significant moments during
workshops. These field notes serve as a factual record and a reflective
space for the researchers to contextualise their own perspectives,
