MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Dex-
ter Fowler and Matt Car-
penter were expected to
be key members of the St.
Louis Cardinals this season,
among the top three hit-
ters in the batting order.
St. Louis hopes Wednes-
day’s performance was
a sign the two are getting
back to their usual produc-
tion. Fowler reached base
four times and drove in two
runs in his return to the line-
up, and the Cardinals beat
