The spotlight for the NFL
openers on Sunday will
find its way to the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers and Ten-
nessee Titans, who won
only a combined four
games last season.
In a brilliant schedul-
ing move, the league
matched up Jameis Win-
ston and Marcus Mariota,
the quarterbacks picked
No. 1 and 2 in the draft in
May.
Winston was taken by the
Buccaneers, and Mari-
ota by Tennessee. Both
own Heisman Trophies,
and both are the primary
building blocks for down-
trodden franchises.
Yet, to expect a lot from
either of them in their pro
debuts would be unfair.
