Vendors (Pharmacy)
• A contracted vendor will provide the infusion care, including
medication administration, teaching and weekly maintenance/labs.
• The CHHA will have oversight of the infusion services and coordinate
with the infusion operations team.
• Vendors also provide supplies and medications as needed.
• Currently we are contracted with the following vendors:
- Briova RX (Advanced Care)
- Americare PS
- Avanti
- Bioscrip
- Coram (CVS)
- Prompt Care
- Focus RX

Who will provide the Infusion Care in the Home ?
• A non‐VNSNY contracted Infusion vendor nurse will provide the
infusion care (Medication administration teaching and weekly line
maintenance/labs)
• This is usually termed a “bill through”.
- It is very important that the VNSNY intake team educate the
patient that VNSNY will coordinate the homecare episode to
prevent refusal of VNSNY RN at SOC.
- If the VNSNY RN cannot start the care the vendor will not be able
to continue to provide infusion services
• VNSNY CHHA will have oversight of the services.
* The Vendor absolutely has to fax or email their orders to VNSNY Intake
