VNSNY CHOICE FIDA Complete
is a comprehensive health
plan that combines Medicare
and Medicaid bene ts for
New Yorkers who need long-
term care. Called the Fully
Integrated Duals Advantage
Plan, or FIDA, it was made
possible by a partnership
between the New York State
Department of Health and
CMS (the Centers for Medicare
& Medicaid Services).
Members who need long-term care can have complete
coverage with one plan instead of two. The plan includes
a special emphasis on Care Coordination to help members
live safely and independently at home and stay out of
a nursing home.
