IMPLEMENTATION OF
PROJECT
Objectives 1. To identify constraints and limitations at the liquid fertilizer factory that limit
productivity of the factory and to propose appropriate solutions.
2. To improve the management and operation system of raw materials ha-
handling through implementation of standard operation system.
3. To improve the efficiency of the fertilizer mixing process by redesigning
the mixer system that is easy to maintain and operate.

Activities Conducted The activities consist of six job scopes:
1. Project planning and design of mixing system.
2. Installation of support system.
3. Fabrication of major components.
4. Fabrication of work cell for safe and comfort working environment.
5. Review and improvement of the materials handling management and
operation.
6. Wrap up and reporting.
Output
Industry The project provides diverse benefits to the industry. The most significant benefit is
high quality fertiliser being produced consistently from the newly developed liquid
fertilizer mixer.
In addition, the cycle time for mixing process is reduced from 6 hours to 3 hours.
This reduction means low operation cost for manpower and utility cost.
Ultimately the project output can fulfil customer satisfaction and improve the com-
pany profit as well as its sustainability in future.
