Operational procedures
MET = Meteorological Service - here you are referred to the Central Weather
Service by using the telephone number provided
Something that can cause problems are the stated times.
0800-2100 means that it is open 0800 to 2100 UTC. When we have "standard
time", we must add an hour corresponding to 0900 to 2200 local time.
(0700-2000) indicates the UTZ time at the time of year when daylight saving
time has been introduced. We must add 2 hours, corresponding to 0900 to 2200
Local time.
Finally, it says at the bottom that if you want to land after the stated operating
time for AD (Aerodrome), then there is PPR (Prior Permission Required). This
means that you must have prior approval. A request for this must be made no
later than 1 hour before the ADO's duty hours end.
6.4.1.2 Local rules and comments
An important thing before flying to an airport
you are not familiar with is to look at section 16
on local rules/comments.
Section 16 is on page 2 of the Text file
(mentioned above).
This section will state if standard left turns are
not to be used.
It states what you should be aware of if there is
glider or parachute activity.
