Operational procedures
A stop way is a prepared area that aircraft that cannot stop at the end of the
runway due to an aborted take-off can be used to slow down the aircraft.
6.4.1.5 Radio communication on the airport area
An important thing for safety is that we use and know the correct phraseology
in connection with taxiing (driving an aircraft) on an airport.
We will not go into this in detail here, but you can learn it on the N-BEG or BEG
radio course.
If you want to know more about this exciting topic, try Google “Runway
Incursions”.

6.4.2 Ground signals, markings and signs
On the airport area there are various marks and signs that you should be aware
of. You should also be aware of markings on the runway.
6.4.2.1 Ground signals
The marks shown below can either be placed in specific places or on the signal
platform at the airport.
If information cannot be obtained over the radio, it is possible to see the posted
markings when flying over the area. However, the landing T will not be posted
outside of service hours.
Landing prohibited. A red square with yellow diagonals means that
landing on the aerodrome is prohibited. The ban will be of longer
duration.
