A double + displayed means that gliding is in progress.
6.4.2.2 Markings and signs on runways and taxiways
- Runway markings are drawn with white numbers and lines.
- Lines and markings on taxiways are yellow.
The sign here shows that you are on
taxiway B, which is crossed by taxiway
C, while taxiway B continues
diagonally forward.
The apron (APRON) is in the direction
of the arrow.

6.4.3 Marshaller signals
At airports, you may be subject to routing when taxiing. It is important that you
understand these signals.
On the next page you will see the most important signs.
If you are in doubt about a signal when you are in the aircraft, use signs to
indicate that you do not understand.
Stop the engine and wait for the Marshaller to come to the aircraft to tell you
what to do.
