MINDSET OF ENTREPRENEURS

ntrepreneurs, in the Technological Age, are focused on improving customer satisfaction
through improved efficiencies in design, manufacture and delivery of products and service,
Efor a better world for all. They understand customer expectation and stakeholder expectation,
and intentionally aim to create sustainable businesses.

In developed countries Entrepreneurs are responsible for creating 60-70 percent employment.
These figures are expected to grow even higher.

Most businesses in the world, in fact as much as 99 percent, have less than 20 staff.

Broad profiles of Entrepreneurs highlight them as:
ƒ Free thinkers wanting to contribute towards society
                        ƒ Able to take risks

ƒ Having a sense of purpose and often crave achievement
                        ƒ Are business minded
ƒ Make up two percent of the population

No entrepreneur ever sets out to be a hopeless failure. However, business administration
complexities, market conditions, customer changing needs and wants, cash flow and staffing
challenges often create pressure in the day to day business process, that more often than not
                     cause entrepreneurial businesses to fail.
