Lilly’s Road Trip

Victoria to Queensland

On the first day which was May 9th, my Dad, Mum, myself and
my younger sister Yssi, left Melbourne at about 6am and drove
until about 3pm that day. Dad was towing the big caravan and
Mum was towing the pop-up caravan. We stopped at a beautiful
place called Narrandera and stayed in our caravan for the night.
We had hotdogs for dinner and went to bed about 7.30pm so
we could wake up early again.

The next morning Mum and Dad woke up at 5.30am and woke
my sister and I at a quarter to 7 and we hopped in the car and
drove some more. We drove very far the next day and stopped
at another beautiful place called Hickeys Falls.

The next day we arrived at the farm we are going to be staying
at. We introduced ourselves and straight away Yssi and I started
playing with the two kids, Xander and Alissa. The people also
have a very friendly dog that we played with.
We are looking forward to the time we are going to spend in

Queensland.

Editor’s Note: Lilly and Yssi are our granddaughters – two very
adventurous young ladies, that’s for sure. Let’s hope we have
many more tales from their part of the world in the future.
