Bozkurt, Hakan Yesilyurt, Ilkay Akkaya, Burcu Deniz, Ezgi Kaya
and Mehmet Esatoglu came out onto the podium to model Ka-
zova products. The fashion show ended with the artists’ singing
songs.

Celebration By Kazova Workers

Kazova workers celebrated the holiday by listening to music
and holding an event which included a theatre performance in
the factory that they have occupied.

Yesterday evening the Kazova workers continued to produce

and sell sweaters, in the afternoon they celebrated the holiday. Be-
cause the weather was wet the celebration was held inside the fac-
tory in Bomonti, Emekli-Sen (translator’s note: a trade union for
retired workers) members also took part. The retired did not neg-
lect to buy sweaters.

Kazova worker Bulent Unal spoke at the social: “This is our
second holiday in the resistance but this time we are celebrating

it in the factory and not the police station. We thank all of you
for supporting us. Together we will achieve a resistance that will
be a model for the working class of Turkey.”

After the speech by Unal, the Otekiler music collective per-
formed music. The workers and those who took part in the event
sang along to the folk songs. Idil Culture Centre’s theatre collec-
tive also performed some theatre.
