the Kazova workers told people in the neighbourhoods about their
resistance. The workers sold sweaters as a form of solidarity. Of
the sweaters that were sold, a portion were packed up and sent to
earthquake-affected parts of Van (translator’s note: mainly Kurdish
        area in the east).

The Kazova workers won a court case and will move their ma-
terials from the Bomonti factory to another place, where they will
        continue to produce.

Uniforms For The Cuba-Basque Country Match From The

        Kazova Factory

The Kazova workers have opened their own factory. The first
orders are Cuba-Basque Country match strips. Metin Yegin: “Ka-
zova does not simply want to leave football to the industry, it wants
to create a link between football and resistance.”

After ending their resistance with victory, the Kazova workers
are opening their own factory. Their first products are football
strips for a friendly match in Havana between the Cuban national

youth team and the Basque youth team on 15 February.

The writer Metin Yegin said these strips would be worn in all
their subsequent matches in Cuba. Yegin brought the Kazova
workers together with the Cuban and Basque teams and said,
““Kazova does not simply want to leave football to the industry, it
wants to create a link between football and resistance.” Yegin will
bring the strips to Cuba and also watch the match.
