The Kazova workers resisted for 10 months and occupied the
factory and stated they wuld celebrate victory on 19 November.

The Kazova workers stated court proceedings against their
bosses and won a case, they own the machines in the factory they

            What happened?

The Kazova factory was closed down and 94 workers put out
the door without wages or compensation. The bosses Umit So-

they had “gained strength” from the Gezi resistance.

On 14 September they began making sweaters from material
that had been left behind in the factory.

The workers gained their rights at the end of 10 months’ re-
