THOSE WHO RESIST WIN. Winning comes from resisting.

In the 21st century, in the age of the monopolies, nobody can
count on just being given their rights. On a world scale, imperial-
ism is stepping up its attacks on the people. Imperialism an-
nounced that it was the end of history. But peoples say the

contrary. History advances. History advances with small victories.
And one of these small victories was THE VICTORY OF THE
          KAZOVA TEXTILE WORKERS.

The Kazova workers resisted and won. Whether it was cold,
raining, hot, they waited in front of the factory. They occupied
the factory and went on hunger strike. At the same time, they
showed solidarity with other acts of resistance and resisters. The

resistance of the Kazova workers showed once again a readiness
to support every section of the people. Unemployment, people
being fired, trade unions being disrupted, houses torn down, at-
tacks in the prisons… That is the problem of all of us. Solving it
          depends on all of us.

But the Kazova resistance is not simply the resistance of the
Kazova workers. Under guidance from the DIH the Kazova work-
ers joined their resistance to that of every section of the people.

Solidarity of the people and support reached the highest level.
Artists, small businesses, workers, town hall workers, intellectuals
and architects supported the resistance. The resistance breached
the limits of Istanbul and even the country. And today, namely
19 November 2013, the Kazova workers packed up their tents, de-
claring victory. From now on the form of resistance is changed.
And perhaps a more difficult period has begun. Because the Ka-
zova workers will produce good-quality and inexpensive sweaters
