We will make you regret plundering four months’ worth of
wages and seniority from workers!
The Kazova workers were thrown out of work on 31 January
and started resistance on 27 February under the leadership of the
Revolutionary Workers’ Movement, and five months have passed.
On 28 June they occupied the factory. A month of occupation
and hunger striking has passed.
The thieving bosses spoke on the telephone and said that be-
cause we have revealed what they are they are no longer talking to
us. These dishonourable people consider themselves to be both
“guilty and powerful”. They believe themselves to be immune.
Every insolence from the would be tolerated. They could plunder
billions of lira from workers and everyone would acquiesce.
What were you thinking? Did you think the workers would
thank you? What would be the situation of workers with families
and children who could not take bread home? Did you think that
you could empty out the factories and run and the workers would
not find a way to carry on? Did you not think about medical treat-
ment for Yasar Usta’s wife? You did not. Your own lives are very
valuable. Did you run from thinking about such things? You
thought being the boss was something to be hidden in the shad-
ows… You thought that you could rob the workers and nobody
would hear of it or know about it… But it was not like that, the
workers you referred to as a “rabble” have exposed your machina-
tions… They have revealed to the people how thieving you are.
They say to the people, take a look at these thieves… By
chance a worker from DIH who was putting up posters with the
