Following that Simurg Theatre gave a short performance for
the Kazova workers concerning the scrapping of the ship Ask two
days earlier in Izmir Aliaga, in the course of which two workers
were killed.

In the ceremony the workers exhibited the sweaters they had
manufactured and the participants continued the celebration in
the form of a forum. At 6 pm the ceremony of greetings ended.

DIH (Revolutionary Workers’ Movement) Panel In Ankara

The DIH held a panel discussion in Ankara/Batikent on 17
August on the subject of “SUB-CONTRACTING AND WORK-

ERS’ DEATHS”. At 6 pm the discussion started with the partici-
pation of Erol EKICI, Behic ASCI, Cansel MALATYALI, Bulent
UNAL and Semiha EYILIK.

The trade unionist Erol Ekici described sub-contracting yes-
terday and today, saying “The essential threat is the obstacles it
