VALUES
INTRODUCTION
The introduction brings to attention the need for this program and how it stands to
benefit them in terms of effective CBC instruction. The introduction part also spells out
the approach that will be taken in administering the course. The trainees will also have a
chance to express their views on the best approaches they think they will use in managing
the course through to its end
MODULE 1: RESEARCH AND STRATEGY
CONCEPTUALIZATION
GAME / PLAY-BASED LEARNING
Game / Play-based Learning is, essentially, to learn while at play. One of the premises
upon which this course is built is that no child should be left behind in learning. Game
/ Play-based Learning is highly essential especially in the lower grades.
Educators and research are in agreement that play makes an integral part of a child’s
learning, growth and development, which should not be sidelined at all.
Learning this module will enable the trainees to identify various activities that they can
engage their learners. These activities can be made into computer games on PowerPoint
or programmed later by experienced developers. However, for class delivery, our course
enables the teacher to use a combination of Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, and Ms. PowerPoint
to manage this task seamlessly and keep learners engaged and happy.
“Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.”
