Listen to the health inspector or applicable agency. Cooperate fully and clearly understand the actions that
must take place in order to be reinspected. Confirm next steps including when he/she will be back for a
reinspection.
Contact your ROD/ROM immediately and provide as many facts as possible.
The ROD/ROM will contact the Crisis Hotline and the Crisis Team will be notified.
The appropriate Crisis Team Members will provide direction and next steps, including having the
Facilities Manager head to the store to oversee and/or assist in correcting the situation.
Place the Health Department’s mandated sign on all access doors. Do not lie about the reason for the
closure.
Even if the Health Department allows you to keep the Midway open, you may not serve any food.
PEST OR RODENT INFESTATION
Contact your ROD/ROM immediately and provide as many facts as possible, including the location of the
problem, how long it’s been going on, and any complaints that have been received.
The ROD/ROM will contact the Crisis Hotline and the Crisis Team will be notified.
The appropriate Crisis Team Members will provide direction and next steps, including having the Facilities
Manager head to the store to oversee and/or assist in correcting the situation.
IT ONLY TAKES ONE GUEST CAPTURING ONE PEST OR RODENT ON THEIR CELL PHONE FOR THIS TO BECOME A
VIRAL NIGHTMARE. ONE PEST OR RODENT IS UNACCEPTABLE. PREVENTION IS KEY.
FAILED HEALTH INSPECTION/CRITICAL VIOLATIONS
Inform ROD/ROM. If there’s a threat of closure, the ROD/ROM will notify the Crisis Hotline.
The ROD/ROM will have the Facilities Manager go to the store to oversee any repairs if necessary.
