Acappella Sounds Chorus
Spring 2022; a time of rebirth, renewal, great hope, and great expectations!
Just like in a snakes and ladders game, we had climbed up the ladder to in-person rehearsals in November
2021 only to slide back down the snake to confinement in January 2022. But in March 2022, things were
looking up and we are back, not only to live rehearsals but also on the risers! What an emotional
experience, to be stepping up those riser steps for the first time in 2 years!
Hesitant at first, but slowly regaining confidence with a somewhat reduced chorus we can once again look
to the future and start to think about competition in 2023.
Although we stayed active via Zoom throughout the pandemic, nothing compares to hearing the beautiful
harmonies we create when singing together, not to mention the personal aspect of connecting with each
other in a personal way.
