1 1/2 pounds sirloin tip roast, trimmed -- cubed
1/2 c flour
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
3 1/2 cups water
1 medium onion -- sliced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 medium potatoes -- cubed
4 medium carrots -- cut into 1/4"

2 medium onions -- cut into eighths
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Rice vinegar -- balsamic
1 can corn, whole kernel, canned
Trim and cut meat into bite size pieces. Dredge in flour. In large
saucepan or Dutch oven, brown meat well in oil. Add water and next 4
ingredients. Cover; simmer 45 minutes or until meat is almost tender,
stirring occasionally.
Add potatoes, carrots and onions. Cover; simmer 30 minutes or until
vegetables are tender. Stir in ketchup, vinegar and corn. Cover; simmer
20 minutes longer.
Makes 10-12 servings.
