Corn Chowder

                 4                     potatoes -- diced
                 1/2                c  diced onion
                 2             stalks  celery -- chopped
                 2                  c  corn -- fresh or canned
                 6                     bacon slices
                 1                can  evaporated milk
                 1                     cream cheese -- 8 oz.

               Fry bacon, drain and dice.  Prepare potatoes, onion and celery and put
               into soup pot.  Add bacon and corn.  Barely cover with water and simmer
               until potatoes are done.  Add evaporated milk, salt and pepper to taste,
               then stir in cream cheese.
