Bacon Cheese and Onion Squares

1 c saltine crackers -- crushed
4 tbsp butter -- melted
6 slices bacon -- cooked and crumbled
1 c onion -- chopped
8 oz Swiss cheese -- grated
3/4 c sour cream
2 eggs -- slightly beaten
black pepper -- grated
1/2 c cheddar cheese -- grated
Combine cracker crumbs with butter and press into an 8" square baking pan.
Cook bacon and crumble. Then cook the onion in the bacon drippings.
Combine the bacon, onion, Swiss cheese, sour cream, eggs, and pepper and
pour over crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with cheddar
cheese and bake 2 to 3 minutes longer. Let stand 10 minutes and cut into
squares. Serve hot or at room temperature.
