Curried Pea Salad

                 1                pkg  frozen peas -- 10 oz.
                 5                     green onions -- chopped
                 1/2                c  chopped celery
                 6                     bacon slices -- cooked and chopped
                 2/3                c  nonfat sour cream
                 1                tsp  curry powder
                 1/2              tsp  salt
                 1/2              tsp  ground pepper
                 1/2                c  cashews, dry-roasted

               Mix together peas, green onions, celery and bacon.  Combine the sour
               cream, curry powder, salt and pepper.  Adjust the seasonings to taste.
               Mix with the vegetables just until coated.  Fold in the nuts just before
               serving.  Serve on lettuce leaves.
