DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES FOR STAFF
Any instructor who fails to follow the SCPA/SASL staff guidelines will be subject to any of the
               following disciplinary procedures:

                         Counseling Session
                         Verbal Warning
                         Written Warning
                         Final Written Warning
                         Suspension
                         Termination

         DRILLS
The Crisis Response Plan addresses all drills and their related procedures. Instructors must become
familiar with all drills and codes. Fire Drills will occur once a month. See evacuation plans in each
classroom. Code Red drills will occur once a month. Training for both drills will be provided by the
campus SRO in the beginning of the year with period reviews throughout the school year.

         ELECTRONICS
In case of an emergency, students will be able to use the phone in the Main Office. However, devices
such as iPods, iPads, personal computers, etc. can be used during the school day under the direct
supervision/approval of the instructor. These approved devices are to be used for educational
purposes only. SCPA/SASL is not responsible for lost, damaged, and/or stolen electronic devices.
Teachers should post this message in the classroom if you are permitting the use or charging of
               electronic devices in his/her classroom.
Confiscated electronic devices are to be kept in a secure location until the instructor is able to register
the item in the Main Office by the end of the school day. Confiscated electronics are to be logged in
by the instructor. Under no circumstances, is the instructor allowed to take the device home or leave
it in the classroom overnight. It is the sole responsibility of the staff member to register and secure
the electronic device in the Main Office.

It is unprofessional for teacher to conduct private business on their personal electronic device during
instructional time. Should an emergency require your attention, call the office to cover your
               classroom.
