(P=0.009) after surgery. At 1 year follow up, navigation-assisted technique was
noted to have the significantly better improvement (mean ODI scores = 5.8)
compared with mini-open technique (mean ODI scores = 10.6, P=0.035).
However, SF36 assessment indicated that all patients were considerably
improved 12 months after surgery. But there was no statistically significant
difference of outcomes among these three techniques.
Conclusion: All three different surgical techniques of TPSF in patient with LS
provide the positive quality-of-life outcomes. Although mini-open group
seemed to obtain a faster recovery outcome according to ODI, there was no
statistical difference in term of QOL outcome in accordance with SF36
assessment.
