MEETING NEW PEOPLE

Many clubs and services showcase their members to
promote inclusion of students of many backgrounds.

Waterloo Orientation is one of the greatest
opportunities to make friends from different
faculties. Excited incoming students gather
together during orientation for a fun and
educational week that helps them transition into
University.

At the University of Waterloo, there are over
200 clubs available for students to join. These
clubs do not aim to discriminate based on race or

ethnicity; however, 33 of these are specifically
affiliated with certain ethnic or racial groups,
countries or cultures.
