PENSIONS AE RE-ENROLMENT
It has been three years since the first of all the Hand Picked Hotels reached their staging
date for Auto Enrolment – the new workplace pension scheme introduced by the
Government to ensure employers provide everyone with a pension scheme and
automatically enrol qualifying workers into this scheme.
Every three years, employers have a duty to re-enrol workers back in to the AE scheme who
opted out or ceased membership. (This does not include workers who opted out/ceased
membership within the last 12 months). If re-enrolment is going to affect you, you will
receive further information nearer to your hotel’s re-enrolment date. In the meantime, if
you would like more information, please see/speak to your hotel HR Manager.
This year’s VUES Employee Survey was open from 3 – 11 July. Results will be produced and
sent to individual hotels during the week commencing 24 July. Feedback sessions within all
hotels will take place shortly thereafter. For any further information, please see your hotel
HR Manager.
SEVENOAKS SOCIAL EVENTS
A very well prepared … (thank you Quiz Master Nick Staines!) … team quiz
night was held at Brandshatch Place on Monday 6 March for the Sevenoaks
Support Office. The event was a huge success, with a great deal of fun and
laughter … and Disney questions which were (apparently) the most correctly
answered questions!
Coming soon … a team treasure hunt through Sevenoaks town centre

The next Hand Pick ‘n’ Mix Competition will be running
