Accrued PTO Maximum
Team Members may generally carry over PTO from one year to the next. However, to
encourage Team Members to use PTO, there is a cap on the amount of PTO that can be
accumulated. PTO accrual is capped at one- and one-half times a Team Member’s annual
PTO accrual rate. Once the cap is reached, a Team Member will not accumulate any more
PTO until some of the PTO is used and drops below the cap. After PTO goes below the cap,
Team Members can begin accruing PTO again.
Procedure
Requests for PTO should be submitted to your supervisor as far in advance as possible. PTO
requests are approved by your immediate supervisor and are granted on a first-come, first
served basis. In the event of a conflict in PTO requests, your supervisor will consider iFLY’s
staffing needs during the relevant period, as well as the length of service with iFLY of the
Team Members involved.
Religious Observance
Federal and state equal opportunity laws generally require employers to accommodate the
religious beliefs of Team Members, but do not require them to provide paid leave. iFLY
respects your religious beliefs. Team Members who, for religious reasons, must be away
from the office on days of normal operation, may request accrued PTO or unpaid time off.
This leave must be requested through the department manager two weeks prior to the
event.
Personal Leave of Absence (PLOA)
This policy provides Team Members the opportunity to submit for a PLOA for up to a
maximum of 90 days.
