American Tigers 10 Week Curriculum Version 2: Week 1 Self Defense


               Brown, Red, High red:

                          o  Roll back and forth
                          o  Side fall and up
                          o  Forward fall
                          o  Backward fall

               *Main curriculum: Grabbing breaks

               Pee – Wee
                          o  Anti – bully review
                          o  Shirt grab on collar with one hand (two hands together and push
                              down on grabbers arms)
                          o  Shirt grab with two hands:
                                 1.  Attack one hand by pushing down with both hands together
                                 2.  Push down both elbows with both hands and step back

                                 3.  Cross out break
                          o  One step sparring:
                                 1.  one side punch other side peri and punch
                                 2.  One side punch other side push kick

               Junior Class:
               White, Yellow, Orange: Different type of obstacle course
                          o  Anti – bully review

                          o  Shirt grab on collar with one hand (two hands together and push
                              down on grabbers arms)
                          o  Shirt grab with two hands:
                                 1.  Attack one hand by pushing down with both hands together
                                 2.  Push down both elbows with both hands and step back
                                 3.  Cross out break

                          o  One step sparring:
                                 1.  one side punch other side peri and punch
                                 2.  One side punch other side push kick
                          o  Wrist grab (open hands, bend arm 90 degrees and push the blade of
                              the hand towards thumb of the grabber)
